LOWVILLE, N.Y. A classic, cream-colored cheese with a bright red-orange rind, this is a mild cheese with a pleasant, springy texture.
Lowville Producers Dairy is owned by 165 Dairy Families in Upstate New York between the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains and the Tug Hill Plateau. The cooperative has been in business since 1936. Its dairy farms produce over 310 million gallons of Grade A milk each year.
Please note: each brick of Creamy Muenster cheese is approximately 10 ounces, but they are cut at a random weight, so some cheeses may weigh a little more or a little less than this average. By purchasing, you agree that you are paying for a random weight portion of cheese at a flat unit price.
Ingredients: pasteurized milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes, annatto (for color).
